In order to experience Lofoten we recommend traveling by car. From the mainland you can drive the E10 road from Narvik or take your car on these ferry connections:

Bodø - Moskenes

Skutvik - Svolvær

Bognes - Lødingen

Melbu - Fiskebøl

For ferry booking and information visit Torghatten Nord.

You can also travel to Lofoten with Hurtigruten and Havila Voyages.

The nearest stop is Stamsund and its possible to bring your car onboard.

Flying to Lofoten

If you fly to one of the two airports in Lofoten, Leknes or Svolvær, you can rent a car there. It is also possible to fly to Harstad/Narvik airport. Here you can rent a car or travel by bus.

Leknes Airport is the closest airport to Villa Lofoten.

Driving from the airport to Villa Lofoten

From Leknes Airport, go east on E10 for approximately 20 minutes before exiting towards Haverringen. Follow the signs to Kvalnes.

From Svolvær Airport, go west approximately 40 minutes before taking the exit to Kvalnes.

It is also possible to go to Kiruna by train or plane. There you can rent a car or travel by bus to Lofoten.

If you need to rent a car, we recommend renting from Lofoten Leiebil in Leknes and Stamsund. Contact Mr. Tor Woje by phone or email.
